Catherine (Cathy) Haffner
Cathy is married to Jose Ayala (local artist), and the proud mother of three adult daughters: Brittany, Katrina, and Cassidy, and grandson, Darien. She has worked in banking and investments for 30+ years, with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, US Bank, JPMorgan, and now as a Financial Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services. Before moving to San Antonio in 2008, Cathy lived in 18 other cities, spending 25 years in western Washington. She also studied in Rome, Italy. San Antonio has been her favorite place to live.
She has a Bachelor of Science from Seattle University and attended the Executive MBA program at Stanford University. Cathy earned a certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. She currently serves on the board of the American Cancer Society – Central South Texas. She served previously on the boards of The Children’s Bereavement Center, Community in Schools SA, and Dress for Success SA.
During her free time, Cathy enjoys painting with her husband, Jose, playing tennis at Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club, as well as cooking, and traveling.
